Road Commission of Kalamazoo County – 36th Street Bridge Replacement
- Survey, design, construction engineering and inspection.
- Removal and replacement of the 36th Street Bridge over Dorrance Creek.
- Teamed with Cogent Civil Engineering to complete the bridge design.
- Managed the project through construction.
- Removed existing single-span bridge with steel beams encased in concrete and overlaid with HMA.
- Replacement is a more substantial single-span bridge with galvanized rolled steel beams and a 9-inch concrete bridge deck.
- The project also included stream bank restoration and HMA resurfacing of the approaches.
