Alan Pennington, P.E.
Al joined Moore & Bruggink in 1993 as an intern while attending Michigan Technological University. After graduating in 1995 with a B.S. in Civil Engineering he became a full time member of the team. Al has a wide range of engineering and project management experience with a focus on municipal projects and the day to day aspects of engineering that arise in municipalities. He has led many road and bridge projects through the design and construction phases to improve the infrastructure in the West Michigan area. He has been a stockholder at Moore & Bruggink since 2000, was elected to the Board of Directors in 2006 and was promoted to Secretary/Treasurer in 2016. Al held various officer positions with the Western Chapter of the Michigan Society of Professional Engineers and was the Chapter President in 2007 and Scholarship Chairperson from 2008 to 2018. He has served on the Cascade Township Planning Commission and Cascade Township Zoning Board of Appeals.
Brian J. Hannon, P.E.
Brian leads the firm with extensive experience working on wastewater and water projects throughout Michigan and Indiana, including study, design, funding and grants, and construction engineering phases. The firm has won numerous National and State Awards for various projects at Moore & Bruggink that Mr. Hannon has led. He is a licensed Class B Wastewater Operator which helps bring real world experience to his designs. He is a graduate of the University of Kansas with degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration. He has been active on the Executive Boards of the Michigan Water Environment Association and the Western Chapter of the Michigan Society of Professional Engineers, and has been the recipient of several professional awards.
Justin F. Longstreth, P.E.
Justin joined Moore & Bruggink full time in 2003 after graduating from Valparaiso University with a B.S. in Civil Engineering. Since starting with the company, Justin has been involved in a wide variety of engineering projects ranging from design of municipal infrastructure to computer aided modeling of natural water courses and storm water systems. While at Moore & Bruggink, his primary focus has been projects involving land development, leading many of the projects through the planning, design and construction phases. He has been a stockholder at Moore & Bruggink since 2011, joined the Board of Directors in 2016 and was promoted to Secretary/Treasurer in 2020. Justin is a LEED accredited professional and is a Certified Floodplain Manager through the Association of State Floodplain Managers (ASFPM).
